The AYF Senior Olympics Steering Committee hosted dinner and a kick off meeting at the Seroonian Armenian Community Center on March 5, 2010. AYF Members, Alumni, and Community Members gathered to learn more on how they can help out at the 2010 Philadelphia AYF Senior Olympics. Come to the Seroonian Armenian Community Center for our weekly Friday night Dinner. This weeks dinner, sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Andy Gider, will be traditional Armenian food including, ghavurma with pilaf, green beans, cheese bureg, che kufte, mujetere and salad. Dinner will be served at 7:30pm.
Also guest speaker Garo Manjikian, Armenian National Committee ER Director, will update the community about the Armenian Genocide Resolution and the Protocols via Skype.
The AYF Senior Olympics Steering Committee will be hosting a Kebab Dinner and hold a kick off meeting at the Seroonian Armenian Community Center. Non meat related options will also be available for those practicing lent.
AYF Members, AYF Alumni, Community Members, and Friends are invited to come Friday, March 5th @ 8:00 p.m. to learn how you can help out at the 2010 Philadelphia AYF Senior Olympics and ensure its success.
The Seroonian Armenian Community Center will be closed on Friday, February 26, 2010 due to snow and weather conditions. The weekly Friday dinners will resume again the follow Friday, March 5th. See you then.
